The 2019 Living In One Neighborhood (LION) Bash will be held, Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of South Allen Street in Downtown State College.
LION Bash is part of the LION initiative that strives to create a community for both long-term and short-term residents. LION Bash is a resource fair combined with a community block party that brings ALL residents together for an evening. This event provides an educational opportunity for new and returning Penn State students along with current Borough residents. Some available information includes services available, a mix of community and Penn State organizations, and local ordinances. These all help maintain the quality of life and safety in our community.
This year's LION Bash will host over 100 engagement stations. To view organizations that have already signed up for this event, click here.
The event will feature entertainment for all ages including a live B94.5 broadcast, balloon twisting, massages, hoop skating, caricature artist, acoustic musical performances, strolling magician, and acrobatics. There will also be plenty of food from establishments like Brazilian Munchies, Duck Donuts, Kader's Kona Ice, *Mad Mex and *Canyon Pizza. Attendees are also encouraged to visit any of the great eateries and businesses in Downtown State College.
*100% of sales will be donated to House of Care.
Updates about LION Bash 2019 will be posted on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Follow us to stay in the know!
